The English Premier League is back with the excitement and glamour it brings to viewers across the globe.Tagged the best league in the world,it boasts of heavyweights such as Manchester United,Manchester City,Arsenal,Liverpool and Chelsea.

    Reigning champions Chelsea will be looking to retain the title they won few months ago when they begin their campaign at home to Burnley.Having brought the likes of Bakayoko,Antonio Rudiger and Morata,the squad still lacjs depth when compared to the likes of United and City.The Community Shield loss to Arsenal showed there are still areas that need to be addressed in the team.

Fa cup and Community Shield winners,Arsenal can be serious contenders for the title this term after breaking the bank for France international Alexandre Laccazette from Lyon.The €52m frontman will be expected to deliver the goals as Arsenal push for their first league title since the invincibles.

Both Manchester teams have reinforced superbly this summer.Jose Mourinho led his team to  Capital One cup and Europa league glory last season has recruited  Romelu Lukaku,Lindelof and recently Matic.This team should be a serious contender for the league title.

Pep Guardiola's city have strengthened their attack and defence by breaking the bank for Benjamin Mendy,Danilo,Ederson(goal keeper),Kyle Walker,Benardo Silva and should be looking to challenge for honours both home and abroad this season.

Klopp's Liverpool have also brought in Mohamed Sallah and Andy Robertson from Roma and Hull City respectively and should announce their return backto the Champions league qualifiers with a bang.

The same can't be said of Tottenham who have been quiet throughout the transfer window but the squad contains the same players who have played together for few seasons.

The premier league kick off time is 19:45(C.A.T) with Arsenal taking on Leciester on Friday.
