It was reported that both his kidneys had collapsed and the actor could no longer use his right leg due to his ailment .

He was joined by other DMW artistes in a performance that will linger in the hearts of those who attended. While a number of Nigerian artists have in the past performed at the smaller O2 stages, Wizkid remains the only one to have taken on the main O2 stage and successfully sold out his AfroRepublik concert in 2018. Its so nice seeing our artistes  taking our music to the world.Congrats OBO
