Former Nigerian striker wins Japanese league highest goalscorer award.

Former Nigerian striker,Peter Utaka has become the second African player to win the J1 league highest goalscorer award after Patrick Mboma who won it in 1997.The Nigerian who scored 19 goals for his club Sanfrecce Hiroshima was given the award during the Japanese Football League awards ceremony which held on Tuesday night.He won the award with Leando of Vissel Kobe FCC who also scored 19 goals.
