Drogba to quit Montreal Impact

The Ivory Coast and Chelsea legend has confirmed his departure from Major League Soccer(MLS) club Montreal Impact.The 38 year old former African player
of the year played his last home game for the club after he came on  as a subtitute in Impact's 3-2 win over Toronto Fc in the first leg of the MLS Eastern Conference finals on Tuesday.
According to him;
"Everyone knows that it was my last game here ,” Drogba said when asked after the match if he would be back next season.
“ There is still one, maybe two games to go. Let’s think about next week’s game, I think that is more important than if it’s finished or not .”

The forward joined the club in 2015 and hs scored 21 goals in 33 matches at the club,Injuries however cost him his place in the starting line up which resulted  into a feud with Manager Mauro Biello over his lack of game time.
